Madonna’s daughter offered Potter role
She’s only 11 and already the offers are pouring in. Yes, Madonna’s daughter Lourdes has been asked if she’d like to join the fight against Lord Voldemort in the new Harry Potter film.
Warner Brothers has apparently already approached Madge to see if Ciccone Jr would be interested in a part in Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince – and frankly, what 11-year-old wouldn’t?
“Lola has definitely inherited her mother’s hunger for fame,” said a source, using Lourdes’ pet name. “After all her recent public appearances, looking more like a sophisticated teen than a child, the attention on her is really growing. Offers have poured in – film offers, sponsorship. "
“An executive at Warners wanted to cast Lola in the last Potter film and has renewed his interest for the next movie. Lola would love to do it – she is a huge fan.”
Because of her age, if she accepted the part Lourdes would presumably be likely to appear alongside Ralph Fiennes’ nephew, Hero Fiennes Tiffin (er, nice name!), who will play the 11-year-old Tom Riddle (who later turns into the evil Voldemort). They grow up so quickly, don’t they?
